ages and abilities
The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to
improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of
ability, from novice to international competitor
All of our coaches, as members of the American Swim
Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training
and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the
United States.
They provide assurances that the time children
spend in swimming will be quality time. The Spare Time Aquatics
Sacramento is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets
each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged
to be involved in team activities and fund raisers
We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a

Our Team
Philosophy is described with the words CONSISTENCY, COMMITMENT,
COURAGE and PERSEVERANCE
We would like our
athletes to view swimming as a activity they will enjoy and
participate in for life
CONSISTENCY
is reliability of successive results or events. Each day builds on
the previous one
COMMITMENT
is the state of being bound emotionally or intellectually to a
course of action or to another person or persons. Don’t give
up.
COURAGE
is the willingness to accept risk(s) and endure
failings.
PERSEVERANCE
is the backbone of success in any endeavor in life.
One cannot succeed at the highest levels without enduring some
set-backs. Every swimmer’s perseverance will enable him or
her to transcend those set-backs, and to find the true strength of
his or her character.
Create a unified multi-level
competitive environment that encourages, inspires and enables our
young members to reach their full potential. We achieve competitive
success when our swimmers are successful in progressing from
novices to sectional and national caliber levels. Each swimmer is
encouraged to set their individual goals and at the same time
contribute to the team.
E
ngage swimmers in a competitive program by teaching proper
technique and encouraging skill development in a supportive team
environment and develop the child physically, mentally, and
emotionally in a systematic fashion with the unfaltering goal that
each swimmer will reach his or her maximum potential in and out of
the pool. Gradually increasing the degree of commitment is
essential to reaching peak performances during a swimmer’s
physiological prime. "Our mission is to engage swimmers in a
competitive program by teaching proper technique and encouraging
skill development in a supportive team environment
